I will start updating this blog. I will start updating this blog. I will start updating this blog.
Well, I will try my hardest! Sorry guys for leaving you for so long.
Quickest update I can type:
I am still working at Amazon in Plainfield and only work Sunday-Wednesday. I love it and we are getting ready to go into our "peak" season.
Dan will be finished with his thesis on November 30! Way to go Dan! Graduation is near and we can feel it. Coincidentally, November 30 is also his last pay day....we are looking for jobs in Indiana but it's not looking so good:(
More to come....:)

Memorial Day Weekend
I only have one day off work for Memorial Day weekend but we were able to spend some time together on our 1st canoe trip! After doing about 3 circles, 3 arguments about who was rowing the wrong way, and learning on our own that the rear rower steers....we ended up having a good time:)

Major 10 month update...and pics:)
So I know I haven't blogged in a while but I have missed it....a lot has happened in the last 10 months you should probably know about:
- Nephews .... Anthony is 5 years old and getting ready to start Kindergarten! OMG Jackson is walking, talking and learning so much it's too cute:) and we have a 10 month old Nephew now...Weston Anthony Wayne Hernandez...wow
Anthony
Jackson
Weston
1. Amazon.com (temp for 6 months but hopefully I get hired on soon! I love it there!)
2. Plumps last shot (Bartending 2 times a week)
3. Centerplate at the Murat (Bartending whenever they need me)
4. American Eagle (folding clothes since 2000)
5. Random Catering gigs for cash money
6ish. Red Robin (I also worked at Red Robin briefly but it sucked)
- Dan and I have been busy hanging with our friends and family when we have a chance and Dan has been playing music with Gorman, Dave and Rumley.
- I played volleyball during the winter months and am on 2 softball teams this summer. I love it:) and again Dan will not be playing on account of the fear of breaking his nose. Again.
- I found out almost a year ago that I have Celiac disease. (Basically I can't have gluten which is in bread, beer, pasta and pretty much anything processed...more to come on this)
- I had an awesome 80's Birthday party...all the cool kids were there.
- We adopted a new kitten named Sonny...She is a fur ball (pic to come).
- Summer 2010 will include the following: mass hangage with our peeps, pools, getting our tans on, mucho concertos (including the much loved MAB), and our first CRUISE together:) That's right party people...the Minner's want us to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean with them and we can't wait!
We are obviously extremely busy people but we love you and I promise to update more often! (Hold me to that...)
I will never blog as well and as often as my FAV sis-in-law Jamie:
Can I just say that DVR has changed our lives in the last year. that is all.

Piggyback Rides...
Since being laid off from my job I have picked up a part time waitress job at Plumps last shot in Broad ripple and helping out Cibus food service with some administrative jobs. Cibus is a catering company that was started by some of the old Crystal Catering people that I used to work with. Luckily they are helping me out and giving me a part-time position. Plumps is a really neat bar about 40 minutes away that serves adults and doggies! Pretty neat place where I get to serve people and pups!
Rock-it has a new friend down the street. His name is Blue Magoo and is a little heavier than Rock!
We have also found out that the kitten Kitchen likes piggy back rides, hence the title:
We have also done some landscaping outside and created a small relaxation area out back:

No more Softball for Danny :(
All Danny wanted to do today was wash his car but I really wanted him to practice throwing with me for our upcoming softball league. I have been playing since I was like 4 but this would be Danny's 1st year. I doubt he will play this year because during practice there was a little accident...We were throwing the ball back and forth and Rock-it was with us too. We were all having a great time until I told him to 'go for a long one.' The first pop-fly came down on his nose! It was a little crazy with all the blood and freaking out but we made it to the Immediate Care in 5 minutes. They got it to stop bleeding pretty fast and turned out it is just fractured and not broken. Looks like we will be at the ENT Doc on Monday to get it adjusted.

Peoria, IL
We went to visit Danny's Grandma and Grandpa Al and Joan in Peoria, IL this weekend and picked up some new furiture on the way! Well it was old furniture but new for us. There was a picture of Danny as a new born baby laying on the couch and he is 26 so I am guessing it is almost 30 years old. It is in such great condition and looks really great in our front living room.
Here is a picure of Danny's gpa Al on the phone with Aunt Judy

Here is picture of Danny in the painting room

Rock-it stayed with Mimi and Papaw while we were gone. We were kind of worried about our baby pup but he was so great for them!

Let's just say that Kitchen and Rock-it love the new couch:)

Here are the chairs and a beautiful painting that Danny's gma Joan painted to go with the couch!

Some things we did this weekend in Peoria: played Mexican Train Dominos, ate cherry pie, shot a bb gun, ate at a new German Restaurant, and brought home Avantis for dinner for everyone. So all-in-all it was a good trip!
